The Lost Dog

Once there was a little puppy at the pet shop, he was the only puppy left. Nobody wanted him until one day a kind family came into the pet shop. They said they were looking for a little puppy for their young daughter Kelly for her birthday. The shop owner said they don’t have any other puppies left. “What about that one over in the corner?” they kindly asked. “Ummmm ok” said the shop owner “he’s all yours.” The little puppy was so happy when he heard he was going to have a home. They picked him up and put him in the car. The puppy was so hyped about seeing their daughter Kelly tomorrow for a birthday gift.

Time passed and it was now the next day and it was Kelly's birthday. The puppy was in a cage wrapped up ready to see Kelly! She was so excited to see what her parents got for her birthday. The puppy could hear her unwrapping the paper. “OMG you got me a puppy!”. She was so excited and so was the puppy. “I think I will call him present”

That day after  Kelly came home from school Present came sprinting up to her and bowled her over. “Do you want to go for a run?” asked Kelly. Present  wagged his tail. Kelly opened the door and they both walked down the  footpath. When they came back Kelly’s parents asked “where have you been Kelly?” present said in his head “what about me why don’t I get hugs and kisses? Rude.”

After that, they had dinner. Kelly and her Mum and Dad had steak but Present had mashed up broccoli ewwwww. Time passed and it was now 9 o'clock “ time for bed birthday girl.

It all seemed fine then till in the night a robber snuck through the window and stole the puppy on the bed. When morning came Kelly woke up not seeing present snuggled up to her she thought he would just be down stairs eating but no…

“MUM” kelly screamed “Present is gone.”

“Well where did he go?” answered her mum.

But little did they know that present was the only one of  his breed.

“Well it’s not like he just walked right out the door” said Kelly.

“Wait remember that shop owner I felt like there was something weird about him”

“What do you mean? Does he have special needs?”Answered Kelly. No don't be mean but there was definitely something fishy about him”said Kelly’s mum

“Kelly get in the car”

“but i’m in pajamas. “Do you want present back or not”.  “Of course I want him back” Kelly answered back with a waterfall of tears running down her face.

So they all hoped in the car and drove down to the pet store. They just opened and in the window was the was the man who they brought present off. They got out of the car and rushed through the door.

“Where is he” screamed kelly. “I don’t know what you're talking about” answered the shop owner. “Yes you do my dog” said Kelly. “Really I don’t know” replied the shop owner “ Then what about behind that curtain”. Said kelly loud and proud. “What curtain” nervously the shop owner said back. Then Kelly swiped the curtain back and saw her adorable puppy present she was so relieved to see the little puppy

Then they walked out the door. Well her parents did Kelly stayed behind and gave him a big whack in the face and they lived happily ever after or did they……..

Raft building

Raft building. It was girl vs boys. It was about 9.30 in the morning. I was so cold. I was not ready to get into the murky water. What we had to do was make a raft out of only plastic bottles, rope and logs we could only use a certain amount of each item.

 In our group we had  me, Sarah, Pari, Genevieve and Caroline.  My Mum helped well she mostly made the raft we were just the ones to test it. As soon as my Mum finished tieing the last rope to the raft we plopped it into the lake.  We all got on but as soon as that happened we started to sink! We decided just me and Sarah would hop on that sort of worked!

 We lost an ore so Sarah jumped in yelling "tell my mother I love her..."

After she came back with the ore she tried to hop back on the raft and she neally tipped me out of the raft. I thought 'OMG you don't treat celebrities like that!' But I'm not joking, everyone was wet but not me I still had my fluffy hair boucing on top of my head. But sadly I had to swim back to shore because I floated into the middle of the lake on the raft with no ore so I had to get my hair wet. 😞😢😡

The boys team won and we lead ourselves to failure. I got my flurry hair wet for nothing. 😖😕

Pool Party

In the holidays I had a pool party. All my friends came. Sasha, Sailor, Danica, Carys, Gabby and Charlotte. When we were swimming I threw Hannah’s goggles up in our tree so I ended up getting them down with a spade. Then I cannon balled into our pool. It splashed everyone and made a wave roll down the pool. Then after 2 hours of play in the pool we went to have pizza and lollies. We had hawaiian, pineapple and cheese and meat lovers. All my favourites and they are real crowd pleasers. They were a hit! They were gone in a flash.

After lunch we went back into the pool and we played tag and marco polo and we did very weird cannon balls. Then we had afternoon tea. For that we had cakes like rocky road, banana cake, chocolate cake and some others. Mum made eight types just for us! After afternoon tea some of my friends had to leave but four still stayed until four o'clock. Then their parents came to pick them up. It was such a sunny day, I hope the weather is good again soon so that I could have another one.
